Cookie Policy
This Policy explains how MWO uses cookies, local storage, session storage, tokens, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies on the website, web app, and browser extension.
What Are These Technologies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Local storage, session storage, and tokens work in similar ways: they help remember sessions, preferences, consent, settings, or data needed for app behavior.
Why We Use Them
- Necessary operation: login, sessions, security, abuse prevention, language routing, consent memory, and core app functionality.
- Preferences: selected language, interface state, account settings, and similar choices.
- Product analytics — PostHog: optional product analytics if you consent to the relevant category of cookies or analytics technologies.
- Diagnostics and error logging: Sentry and technical logs may help us detect bugs, crashes, and performance problems.
- Integrations: Google, Meta/Facebook, Stripe, e-sign providers, or email providers may use their own technologies when you use related features.
Examples
mwo-site-language stores your site language preference, usually for up to 12 months. The app and extension may use secure tokens, localStorage, or sessionStorage to maintain connection, configuration, and session status.
Product Analytics — PostHog
PostHog is optional and should remain disabled until you consent to the relevant analytics category. After consent, it may process product usage events, user or workspace identifiers, technical device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and session-related data.
We do not use PostHog to intentionally analyze email message content, documents, customer notes, signed-contract data, review content, Facebook post content, or Google API data. We configure analytics to limit the transfer of personal data and end-customer content.
The current app configuration disables autocapture, automatic pageviews, heatmaps, and session recordings. If we enable heatmaps or session recordings in the future, we will update this Policy and require appropriate consent where required by law.
The PostHog host depends on environment configuration. When we use PostHog EU Cloud, analytics events are routed to PostHog’s EU host; this does not guarantee processing only in the EEA.
How to Control Cookies
You can accept or reject optional tracking in the consent banner or account settings where available. Necessary technologies cannot be disabled through the consent tool because they are required for the Services to work.
You can also limit or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you reject or delete some technologies, parts of the Services may work less smoothly or require you to sign in again.
Targeted Advertising
We do not currently use targeted advertising cookies as a core part of the Services. If we introduce advertising, remarketing, or similar technologies, we will update this Policy and ask for consent where required by law.
