Our story

We’ve been building My Wedding Office since May 2025

  1. May 2025

    The beginning

    Idea and first prototypes

My Wedding Office grew out of the everyday challenges wedding professionals face: inquiries scattered across channels, notes in several places, manually tracked deadlines, and work spread across too many tools. Our first prototype tested whether one organized workspace could bring the most important parts of client service together.

    • The first version of the main workspace
    • Conversations with our first wedding photographers
    • One place for everything as a guiding principle

    Finding leads

Early ideas for finding leads on Facebook

We began looking at how many inquiries from couples appear in Facebook groups and how easily they can be missed. We explored ways to collect those posts in one place, so photographers and other wedding vendors would not have to search several groups by hand every day.

    • Research into inquiries posted in wedding groups
    • Early concepts for monitoring Facebook conversations
    • A browser extension for quickly collecting Facebook inquiries

    Reviews

    Collecting reviews after a project

Our first concrete direction focused on reviews after a project was complete. We saw that many wedding professionals asked for recommendations manually, often late or not at all. We started with a simple process to remind couples to leave a review and make this step easier to manage after the service was delivered.

    • Automatic reminders after a project is complete
    • Reviews as a regular part of client service
    • Integration with Google reviews

    The right direction

    Automation and communication

After our first tests, we returned to the problem we heard about most often: messages were getting lost between email, Messenger, and notes. We began building a simple email system to bring conversations together and help vendors reply to couples without constantly switching between tools.

    • The first sketches of an email system
    • Conversation history connected to each client
    • Automatic reminders and follow-ups

    Proposals and contracts

    Proposals, contracts, and automation

We expanded the platform with the first steps from inquiry to signed contract. We added proposal and contract templates, along with automations that help prepare documents for couples faster. Payments are not supported yet, but we have organized an important part of the process leading up to a booking.

    • Proposal and contract templates for repeatable workflows
    • Automations to help prepare proposals for couples
    • Payments are not yet supported
  6. Now

    Communication

    Messaging and a mobile app

Now we are focused on bringing conversations from Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp into the platform. We want vendors to see their communication with each couple in one place, whatever the channel. At the same time, we are building a mobile app for working on the go: between meetings, at a venue, or on the way to a job.

    • Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp messages in the platform
    • One conversation history connected to each client
    • A mobile app for wedding professionals working on the go
